Here we have one of the most iconic automotive truck designs in history. A 1977 'square body' pickup truck from Chevrolet. A two tone Scottsdale edition with a SHORT BED and one, adult owner! 4X4 too!
Purchased new in 1977 to be used as his work truck, this truck was used as transportation and also service use around the general mechanics shop he ran for decades in Massachusetts. Yes, used to plow but only his parking lot and home driveway. Used to tow on occasion a one car trailer also. All along being cared for by him, a professional and fastidious mechanic. Always garaged either at his shop or at his home. Once retiring to Maine, this truck was used very sparingly, mostly just to plow his long driveway during winter. Very little in the way of salt exposure and it's chassis proves that. This is a very solid truck! Lightly restored in the 90's with fresh paint and a reupholstered seat. Note just a couple of soft spots on both front floor pans in the pics.
The odometer shows 43,013 miles but it's safe to assume it's a true 143,013 which still isn't bad for one of these durable workhorses. Equipped with a 350 V8, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes and an original and functioning AM/FM radio. Also included is a vintage CB radio, probably installed when new. We didn't remove it. It's just too cool.
Starts right up and runs incredibly well. Shifts and stops as it should and the 4x4 is smooth as silk with easy locking hubs and smooth shifting linkage. No worries there.

This truck is being sold with a transferrable Maine registration from 2021 as Maine does not title vehicles this old.
