This modified 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera (996.2) is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic paint over a black leather interior. Bearing only 65,434 original miles on the odometer, this well-kept coupe has been modified for the track and enjoyed by four owners.
The original powertrain of this 996.2 includes a 3.6L flat-six engine coupled to a a six-speed manual transmission. Stability management and a 5-link rear suspension provide enhanced ride quality and road-holding while safety is underlined through features such as 4-wheel ABS and light alloy brake calipers.
This 911 is great for the road and the track, having been upgraded with a roll cage (rear seats were removed), lightweight Alleggerita HLT wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires, adjustable Ohlin coil-overs, and a third radiator to make the vehicle more suitable for track use. A third-party inspection performed in March 2024 shows wear consistent with track use, including minor scratches, dings, and worn tire treads.
This Porsche was originally purchased in 2002 at Hoehn Porsche, California. It stayed in California with its first three owners before being acquired by its current owner in Colorado in 2021.

About the model
Debuting in 2002, the Porsche 996.2 was a styling update to the controversial 996 generation of water-cooled 911s. Porsche sweetened the offerings pool with 4S and Turbo models. The 996.2 is not all looks. These cars were given a 3.6-liter flat-six motor, slightly larger than the 996.1 motor, and making around 320 hp. 2005 was the end of the 996 generation.
