For Sale: 1932 Ford Highboy in waconia, Minnesota

Vehicle Description

This ’32 Ford highboy utilizes a fiberglass roadster body and is powered by a 406ci Chevy V8 fitted with Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT electronic fuel injection. The car is built on a fully boxed body-color frame that is fitted with a dropped front axle, four-wheel disc brakes, a Halibrand quick-change rear axle, 15" and 16" wheels, and a Doug Nash five-speed manual transmission. The interior is trimmed in tan vinyl upholstery and incorporates a polished steering column, lap belts, and a Champion instrument panel with Mooneyes gauges. Initially built by the current owner’s father in 2016, this Deuce highboy is now offered on dealer consignment in Minnesota with a clean Wisconsin title listing it as a 1932 Ford. The fiberglass body is said to have been sourced from Wescott’s Auto Restyling and is finished in yellow with a white and orange flame motif accented by blue pinstripes and is mounted to a body-color boxed frame. A Dan Fink grille is fitted, per the selling dealer, and additional details include a polished roll hoop, teardrop taillights, a Le Mans-style fuel filler, and custom-fabricated chrome bumpers. Polished 15" and 16" wheels are mounted with 145-series Firestone XZX tires up front and 345/55 BFGoodrich Sport Truck T/A light truck tires at the rear. The 4-bar-style front suspension incorporates a body-color transverse leaf spring and chrome Pete & Jake’s drilled and dropped axle, shock absorbers, pitman arm, and tie rods. Stopping power is provided by polished calipers over vented and cross-drilled rotors up front and vented two-piece rotors out back. The cockpit is trimmed in tan vinyl upholstery joined by color-coordinated square-weave carpet. Interior elements include a pinstriped dashboard, lap belts, a parcel shelf, and an eyeball shift knob. A fire extinguisher is mounted in the trunk. The finned, cast-aluminum Champion instrument panel contains Mooneyes instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level, while a Mooneyes tachometer is mounted atop the polished steering column. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 6k miles. The 406ci small-block Chevy V8 is said to be fitted with forged internals and a Comp Cams Thumper camshaft and is equipped with Sanderson exhaust headers and an Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT electronic fuel injection system, which was fitted in 2023. The selling dealer states that the fluids were serviced in preparation for the sale. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a body-color Doug Nash five-speed manual transmission, Summers Brothers axles, and a polished Halibrand quick-change rear axle and driveshaft. The polished stainless steel dual exhaust system features electric cutouts and FlowMaster mufflers. The serial number 1832451B, shown above matches the VIN listed on the current Wisconsin title which describes the car as a 1932 Ford coupe.
