The 1959 Mercedes Benz 220-S was a comfortable, elegant touring

Mercedes 220-S has been with its current owner for over 50 years
and was completely restored in 2021. The classic 4-door sedan was
carefully refinished in original Burgundy Red and accents include
stunning chrome on the grill, bumpers and dual mirrors. There is
also a classic Mercedes hood-ornament and dual fog lights. The
interior of this 220-S is stunning. It was completely restored
back-to-original in 2021. The high-grade vinyl upholstery is nicer
that leather. Steering wheel, carpeting, door panels and headliner
are all outstanding. The beautiful refinished all-wood dash holds a
full set of factory gauges. Heat controls are 'dual-zone', and
there is a lighter for your cigar. Under the hood, the Mercedes is
powered by a 2.2L SOHC in-line 6-cylinder that outputs 112hp and is
said to have been completely rebuilt in 2021. It is fitted with
dual downdraught 2-barrel carburetors w/progressive linkage. The
transmission is a Daimler-Benz 4-speed fully-synchronized manual
gearbox with column shift that is backed by a factory differential.
The chassis is equipped with 4-wheel coil springs, front sway bar,
manual steering, drum brakes w/Mercedes 'ATE-Booster' system and
12-volt electrics. Finally, you can't overstate the visual impact
of the classic 14" steel wheels with center caps and trim rings
that mount BFGoodrich radial tires. Take a moment and again look at
