Vehicle Description
1969 Pontiac Grand Prix, 400, Auto, AC - great car! EXTERIOR: The
body is in excellent shape with no evidence of damage. Everything
fits exceptionally well showing very good gaps. Repainted in a
candy-style metallic red in 2018 (original color was code 52
Matador Red) that really makes the car POP! The new black vinyl top
(2018) looks amazing on this car. Up front the chrome, grill, and
lenses look great and fit well. The car's chrome and stainless are
original but still very presentable. The 15x7 Rally II wheels look
new as do the BFG Radial T/A's. The tires are 235/60R15's up front
and 245/60's out back. The car is super straight and has very nice
reflections looking down the sides. The glass is in good shape and
the power windows operate perfectly. INTERIOR: Inside the car looks
great. The Black Morrokide vinyl bucket seat interior is new and
looks wonderful. The fit and finish looks very good with only a
slight cracking on the top of the dash. The carpet is in nice
shape. The seats have a great cushion, and overall, the upholstery
looks great. The door panels are nice. The shifter and console area
are in excellent shape. As stated before, the power windows operate
flawlessly. The deluxe steering wheel is in nice shape. It has an
upgraded Alpine AM-FM-CD, Blue tooth enabled, sound system with a
Precision Power amp in the trunk - sounds real nice. Interior
lights all work. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: the engine bay is clean. It's
showing factory options including air conditioning (needs charge),
power steering and power brakes. The engine is a period correct YE
block which translates to a 69 400 / automatic, but the VIN does
not match. It runs great and has a mild cam, she's rated at approx.
350 hp. She sounds great with the new dual exhaust, and it has
Flowmaster mufflers and chrome tips. It's been driven 36,000 miles
since the engine and trans were rebuilt and installed. Some of the
newer parts include: an Edelbrock Torker II intake, Holley 650 carb
