Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this
amazing 1972 Mercury Cougar in dark green on tan.Second generation
Cougars are no doubt sharp cars. Sharing the same platform as the
Mustang of the era, Cougars were a great blend of luxury and
muscle. 1971-1973 Cougars were given a Lincoln style front bumper,
a vertical grill, and exposed headlamps. While the front end of the
Cougar appeared very formal, the styling of the back-half of the
car was more on the radical side. You can definitely see
resemblance of a Mustang if you follow the body lines. The interior
is also resemblant of a Mustang's, but with greater luxury
features. This '72 Cougar is a true headtuner with its beautiful
dark green exterior. The white vinyl top is powered. The wood
plated dash is gorgeous and greatly compliments the tan interior.
The Cougar symbols embedded in the vinyl seats are a beautiful
touch. This Cougar is powered by a 351 V8, paired to 3-speed
automatic. Per the owner, the convertible top has recently been
replaced, and the car repainted. The owner has provided a Deluxe
Marti Report on the vehicle based on its VIN number. The fifth
character Q indicates 351-4V Cobra Jet V8 engine. The Marti Report
also lists factory equipped options including the CJ performance
package, power steering, and much more...This 1972 Mercury Cougar
