1969 AMC Javelin SST
Here's a very nicely restored 1969 Javelin in original spec. The Javelin was not just a contender in the pony car wars, Javelins beat all the factory-backed teams running Mustangs, Cudas, Camaros and won the Trans-Am series in 1971, 1972, and 1976. Here's your chance to own a beautifully restored, legitimate muscle pony car from the heyday of factory Trans-Am racing teams.
Finished in its factory-spec Hunter Green exterior with the optional Side-Stripe Package and a Legendary Charcoal Gray interior, this one has also the desirable T-10 4-speed, Hurst Competition Plus shifter. In addition, the highly coveted "Go Package" included on this example provided front disc brakes, 5-spoke Magnum 500 wheels and Redline tires, "Twin Grip" limited slip differential, heavy-duty suspension with thicker sway bars, and a matching 8,000 PRM tach.
The comprehensive restoration of this highly original car was completed just 100 miles ago. The original engine, carb, intake and exhaust manifolds were all painstakingly rebuilt. Even the air cleaner is original, and the new, Coker 15-inch Redline tires means this is a drivable classic that looks showroom original. Hard to find an original Javelin as authentic as this one that also looks fantastic inside and out, top to bottom, front to back.
