1962 Corvette
This is a truly breathtaking NCRS Top-Flight Fuel Injected 1962
Corvette. Full frame-up restoration and finished in Ermine white
with red interior. Notable performance options include the fuel
Injected solid-lifter 327/360HP mated to a 4-speed transmission and
4:11 Positraction differential. This incredible car has the
matching engine, transmission, and Rochester fuel injection
numbers, and also has the factory hardtop.
The 1962 Corvette offers so much to love. In particular, the 1962
is quite unique and highly collectible because it is the last year
of the C-1 style front end, yet it has the new C-2 style rear end.
It's also the last year for the reliable Borg-Warner T-10
transmission was used (until the '70's), which was substituted for
the weaker Muncie in 1963. Also notable was the very
high-performance fuel injected solid-lifter 327, which powered
famous racers like Dick Guldstrand, Dan Gurney, and others to
victories on the track. Fast-forward to today, this type of
well-documented historical significance gives the 1962 fuel
injected Corvettes legendary provenance. This particular example
was built in one of the most desirable equipment and color
combinations, and with NCRS Top-Flight status, it is among the best
of the best.
