Vehicle Description
1984 Jeep CJ7 - Modified and Restored purchased in 2017 from a
long-standing friend that is a collector, who garaged the jeep for
many years and was driven rarely. The Jeep was in great condition
with no rust and some modifications. Engine and transmission have
been replaced and a 2" body lift with a 4" Rancho Suspension kit
had been added. Upon purchasing this Jeep, I began further
restoring it and adding stronger components. Below is a complete
list of all major upgrades that this one of a kind CJ7 has
currently. I have all receipts for parts and work. ENGINE 1.
Rebuilt Small Block Chev. 305 CID (Bored 10 thousand over) this is
out of a 1979 Monte Carlo. 2. Edelbrock aluminum Intake with a
FITEC fuel injected throttle body carburetor. This is computerized
and is a learning carburetor. 3. HEI ignition with Hi test wires
and platinum plugs. 4. Dual exhaust magnaflow 5. High pressure 60
psi fuel pump submerged in a New Genright 21-gallon fuel tank. 6.
New starter. 7. New Alternator. 8. New water pump 9. New Oversized
Aluminum 4 core Radiator, with dual 13" electric fans. DRIVE TRAIN
1. Rebuilt Turbo 350 Automatic transmission (Also out of a 1979
Monte Carlo) controlled by a Lokar Shifter. 2. Rebuilt Dana 300
Transfer case (extensive work here with a 4:1 low gear kit for that
low crawl gear.) 3. Twin stick shifters in Transfer Case. 4. Front
Axle is a Dana 30, with RVC joints, Chrome Molly shafts, Warren
high strength hubs. This axle has had extensive work done to it and
has been completely rebuilt. 5. Rear axle is a Ford 8.8 with a
Grizzly locker, Chrome Molly shafts. This axle is completely
rebuilt with disc brakes and all new components. 6. Drive shafts
are heavy duty Adams shafts, fitted and balanced. 7. Both axles
have �" steel plate differential covers. 8. (5) slightly used 17"
RACELINE Bead lock wheels. 9. (5) BF Goodrich MK2 37"x 12.50 x17"
tires 60% life installed on Jeep 2020. SUSPENSION 1. Chassis has a
4" PRO COMP performance leaf spring setup
