Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale,
on consignment, this Rad 1927 Rat Rod we lovingly refer to as
Tetanus Shot! This car was titled as a 1927 Ford Model T thanks to
the cowl, as for the rest of it, that is a journey worth
mentioning. The builder of this vehicle has quite the imagination!
Some notable items are the 1958 Chevy Impala Fenders that were
flipped upside down to make the shape of the cab/cockpit. The air
scoop was made out of a modified motorcycle gas tank. A long stare
will reveal Model A axles, chainsaw blades, gears, sprockets,
camshafts, chains, ammo can battery box, rum bottle for a radiator
overflow, wood flooring and accents, a 57 Bel Air Hood Rocket, and
a creepy steering wheel with a spare that comes with the car.A 400
cubic inch Chevrolet V8 is mated to a Turbo 350 Automatic
Transmission. All the bare metal has been covered in clear coat to
preserve the natural surface rust. The current owner purchased this
car from the builder and has enjoyed the attention it commands for
the past 3.5 years. When our Business Development Representative
saw this at the Goodguys Show in Scottsdale, he said he just had to
have it in the showroom! We are grateful and excited to have such a
conversation piece in the building and look forward to handing the
keys over to the next lucky owner. Reach out to our sales staff by
phone, text or email to learn more about this one of a kind build!
