The first generation of the "Super Duty" trucks by Ford started in
1999 with a multitude of configurations beginning with the 3/4ton
chassis as the ton was a whole separate line. These 7.3
powerstroke engines were massively popular from the start and still
to this day are coveted as a bullet proof engine from the start.
The only reason for the discontinuation was due to noise
regulations that they were no longer able to comply with. This
particular F250 is in better than average condition with no body
rust, not even in the seems and pinch welds, the underside has some
areas of surface rust as you would imagine with a vehicle of this
age but it did spend a lot of time in the dry Southwest and it
definitely shows. The interior is near mint, mechanically its
fantastic and is just a remarkable survivor if you ask me. Has a
clean carfax, original owners manuals and keys. It does also have a
cold air intake that was installed. It starts, shifts, brakes and
goes down the road very nicely. These trucks in this condition are
very hard to find. Furthermore this truck has been used but not
abused and you can tell that it has had good care and storage when
not in use.
