This beautiful 1956 Country Squire Wagon is equipped with automatic
transmission, power steering, modern 4 wheel disc brake dual master
cylinder (power brake system) and a McCullogh/Paxton (VR-57)
supercharger. This country squire wagon has its original Factory
optional Thunderbird 292 Engine 292 with a McCullough VS-57
supercharger. These centrifugal superchargers were produced
throughout the 1950's by the Paxton/McCullough Company and by the
mid-fifties were offered as an aftermarket or dealer installed
option. In 1957 Ford offered a similar factory installed
McCullogh/Paxton (VR-57) supercharger on Thunderbirds. This is
known as the ''F, option. The blower was reported to increase
