Automotive craftsmen hope to conceive a classic with every new clay
model. In 1970, the designers of the Mustang Boss 302 created one
of the meanest-looking muscle cars of the era. Each 'Boss' began
life as an ordinary Mustang 'Sportsroof' coupe that was carefully
optioned into an all-out performance machine. Many folks say that
the Boss 302 was what the earlier Mustang GT350 should have been.
This carefully restored 1970 Mustang Boss 302 comes with a
MartiAutoWorks Report and window sticker and it is stunning. The
two-stage respray of Medium Red finish (original color - code
2008A) is in excellent condition. Accent components/trim are
correct and 'Magnum 500' 15" chrome wheels mount BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires. The Mustang's interior has been refreshed with new black
vinyl seating. Dash-pad, carpeting, door cards and headliner are
all in excellent condition. This Boss came factory equipped with
full gauge package, hood tachometer, tinted windows and AM/FM
radio. The Boss Mustang was factory equipped with a 302ci Windsor
(G-code) that was conservatively rated at 290bhp-290lb/ft of
torque. This Boss was equipped with the optional 'Shaker' hood and
close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission w/Hurst shifter. The
factory rear axle contained a Traction-Loc differential with 3.91:1
gearing. The chassis is equipped with manual steering, disc/drum
brakes w/dual master, HD sway bars/spindles and reinforced shock
towers. This classic Boss 302 is a piece of Blue Oval history from
a time when muscle cars ruled the streets. It is an investment that
will not disappoint. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
