The 1970 'Cuda was the first year for the Gen3 model of the
Barracuda. The 1970 'Cuda featured a distinctive new body style
with a long hood, short deck and aggressive front grille. The Hemi
'Cuda was the ultimate performance version of the 1970 model -
426ci/425hp, conservatively speaking. It was a monster on the
street. This 1970 'Cuda is a nice Hemi 'Cuda 'tribute' to that
classic model as it was not originally equipped with the Hemi
engine. The coupe was refinished in Red with Matte Black 'Hemi'
accent designs and a black vinyl top. The exterior and brightwork
are in good condition. The interior has also been refreshed - black
vinyl upholstery, headliner carpeting and door cards are all in
fine shape. It is equipped with bucket seats, center console, gauge
package and an AM sound system. Based on the data tag, the 'Cuda
was delivered from the factory with a 383ci-4V 'Wedge' and
Torqueflite automatic transmission. Horsepower is now furnished by
a 426ci Hemi 'Elephant'. We do not have history on the engine but
it is fitted with dual 4-barrel carburetors and a 'Shaker Hood'.
The transmission is now a Tremec 5-speed manual gearbox w/pistol
grip shifter and torque is delivered to a posi-traction
differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering, power
disc/drum brakes and MOPAR rallye wheels mount BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires. Even though this car is not a factory 'Hemi 'Cuda, it is
still a thrilling ride - come by and check it out. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
