STK 3791 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie
The 1997 Dodge Ram pickup was part of the second generation of the
popular Ram truck series that was introduced in 1994. Known for its
bold and rugged design, the Dodge Ram featured a distinctive
'big-rig' front grille and overall styling that set it apart from
other trucks on the market. This 1997 Ram 2500 Laramie 4-WD is the
extended cab model with a full size bed. The factory 2-tone
Metallic Green/Silver finish is in very good condition, as is all
chrome and stainless. The bed has a sprayed liner and 20" XD alloy
wheels mount Yokohama Geolandar N/T All-Terrain radials. There is
also a HD 2" hitch receiver and Westin side-step bars. The original
tan cloth interior is in good condition - upholstery w/center
console, dashboard, headliner and door panels have all been well
maintained. The dash contains an AutoMeter gauge package and
convenience options include tinted power windows, power locks, tilt
wheel, cruise control and a Jenson CM9521 AM/FM/Cassette/CD sound
system. There is a 'real' 2nd seat that allows for six occupants
and the rear cab window is fitted with a slider. Power is furnished
by a 5.9L Cummins I-6 Turbo Diesel. It features direct injection
and is rated at 160bhp with 400lb/ft of torque. The Cummins is
backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission mated to a manual 4-WD
transfer case w/automatic front hubs. The underside of the Dodge is
very clean. A solid chassis is fitted with power steering and power
assisted disc/drum brakes. Front suspension is coil springs w/sway
bar and leaf springs w/staggered shocks are used in the rear. A
moderate lift kit has also been installed. This Dodge Ram 2500 is
