Vehicle Description

This custom 1959 Chevrolet Impala offers a meticulous blend of classic aesthetics and modern performance enhancements. This iteration of the Impala has been highly customized from the powertrain to its appearance, as it sits in a deep shade of black.

This meticulously customized Impala is now powered by a crate 502ci big block V8 engine with a NOS system for enhanced power, automatic transmission, and a Ford rear differential. Its exterior features a sleek black finish, modern door releases, and a fuel cell, while the interior offers luxury with red leather, power windows, and modern conveniences. Upgraded with coilover shocks, tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, and four-wheel disc brakes, it promises superior handling and safety. Owned and preserved for 40 years, it comes with accessories like keyless entry remotes and a car cover, making it an exceptional blend of classic looks and modern sophistication.

Though the vehicle lacks an odometer for exact mileage documentation, a thorough inspection by third parties has corroborated the car's condition and reliability. The documentation includes a comprehensive photographic catalog alongside a written inspection. This vehicle’s sale includes two keyless entry remotes and a protective car cover. The owner has also chosen to include a trailer in the purchase of the vehicle.

This Chevy Impala is being sold as a Premium listing and is located in Clovis, CA and sold by Robert Lewis.

About the model

The second generation of Chevrolet Impala was introduced for the 1959 model year. The second generation of Impala saw the nameplate become an independent model, whereas, for the First Generation, the Impala had been the top trim level for the Chevrolet Bel Air. As the Impala was now a standalone model, more body styles were available, with four offerings: convertible, four-door hardtop, two-door hardtop, and four-door sedan. The standard engine used for the Impala was a 3.9L inline six, but a wide range of V8 engines were optional. Chevrolet built the second generation until 1960 and replaced it with the Third Generation Impala.
