Vehicle Description
This 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air lll is powered by a rebuilt
matching-numbers 400ci V8 engine factory-rated at 366hp and mated
to a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Verified with PHS
paperwork, Build Sheet and Window Sticker. Shipped to Lawless
Pontiac in Worcester, MA, on October 30, 1969, this GTO is one of
3,629 Judges built for the 1970 model year and was built in October
1969. Original equipment includes red exterior paint (75) and red
vinyl interior (254) on the data plate with front bucket seats and
console combination. Factory-equipped air conditioning with new
compressor and system rebuild. Generously equipped with power
steering, power brakes, power windows, power trunk release,
reclining passenger seat, dome light with reading lamps, under-hood
light, trunk light, push-button AM radio and rear speaker,
windshield antenna, remote outside rearview mirror, visor vanity
mirror and Soft-Ray glass. Side windows are original with a new
front windshield and rear back glass being replaced. The car was
completely disassembled, at which time the body and frame were
media-blasted to bare metal. The frame was painted gloss black and
sealed with a urethane clear coat. The original floor pans were
left in place and resealed with red oxide primer on the exterior
per factory specifications. The front end was completely rebuilt
with all-new bushings, ball joints, shocks and then aligned. The
GTO rides on new Coker reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires and
features a spare as well. The engine was completely rebuilt with
hardened valve seats to accommodate today's gasoline. The
crankshaft was machined .020 over, and new forged pistons were
installed in .030 oversized cylinder bores. The GTO has Pontiac's
Safe-T-Track posi-traction 10-bolt rear end with 3.23 gears as well
as the F41 heavy-duty suspension option with anti-sway bars front
and rear. Additional features include new fuel tank and lines, new
brakes with front discs and rear drums with new backing plates,
wheel cylinders, pads and shoes. The interior is all-new, including
seat covers front and rear, new carpet, new door panels and new
Pontiac floor mats. The dash was restored with factory Rally gauge
package with tachometer, all in working order. All running lights,
headlights with new T3 headlight bulbs, taillights, brake lights,
turn signals, glove box light and dome light all work as intended.
The Endura front bumper shows no cracks or splits and fits well to
the front end. New rear chromed bumper and new taillight housings
were installed, along with new Judge decals and new wheel lip
opening moldings. Matching spare tire with NOS wheel and original
jack, jack base and lug wrench are in the trunk.
