KZJs are arguably one of the best 70 Series ever built. The KZJ73
pictured is a great well documented example with plenty of
aftermarket goodies. The 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser KZJ73 is
left-hand drive European spec sold new on December 13, 1993. Car
Cave purchased this mechanically sound and tastefully modified
KZJ73 from a mechanic named Monsieur Moret of
Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts, a commune in the Pyr?n?es-Orientales
department in southern France. Pyr?n?es-Orientales borders Spain
and is known for its dry climate which is excellent. Dry climates
are excellent at keeping vehicles well preserved and rust free.
Monsieur Moret kept an entire file of upgrades, performance work,
and maintenance completed on the Land Cruiser during his 7 years

Strap Welded MountsA 3.0L Diesel turbo diesel powers this truck and
is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed
transfer case. The smooth running ultra-reliable Toyota 1KZ-T is a
3.0L (2,982 cc) Single Overhead Cam indirect injection turbo
diesel. The 4-wheel drive high range is dash mounted push button
and a floor shifted transfer case for low-range situations. Front
hubs have been upgraded to AVM manual hubs. This Cruiser has a
significant amount of performance mods with an upgraded turbo,
intercooler, uprated injection pump, and free flowing custom side
exhaust. The engine has the most power we have seen out of a 1KZ
not built by Car Cave. The exhaust sounds amazing and the turbo
spools up with a that special sort of whistle. Regular and
consistent maintenance was completed and documented by the previous
owner. A more detailed list can be found below. Shown in the
original factory white paint and original interior carpets are grey
with an aftermarket front 'Toyota' logo black seats. The rear seats
were removed in favor of a diamond plate cargo space with built in
track system for securing your goods. There are compartments on
each side of the vehicle and small narrow bench seat. Factory built
options include power brakes, power steering, center console, power
windows, tilt steering wheel, rear barn doors, rear wiper,
intermittent wipers, digital clock, and rear defrost. The factory
Toyota altimeter inclinometer tilt gauge are still present on the
dash above an aftermarket headunit. A set of BFG Mud Terrain KM3
285/75R16 tires provide a great street performance, aggressive
off-road capabilities and an excellent look wrapped around the
factory 16' black 8 spoke wheels.The top is removable and a factory
integrated roll cage is found underneath. Several suppliers do sell
a soft top to make this a unique and universal vehicle. In
addition, the windshield folds down on to the hood if you want a
full throwback overlanding experience with the wind in your
