Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa presents this clean 2001 Plymouth
Prowler! When released, this car was a shock to established styling
rules of the 90s. Jelly beans were out! Retro inspired, regulations
be darned, head turning non-aero, hot rod motoring was in! Bob Lutz
was head of Chrysler at the time and the Prowler was a shout out to
the cool sleek Boyd Coddinton style Hot Rods of the late 80s into
the 90s. Open cycle fenders and exposed font wheels bring home the
look with the long hood and short deck proportions exaggerating the
traditional 32 Ford look. The polished Billet wheels on this ride
enhance the retro-future look of the Prowler and compliment the
mile deep blue paint. The original wheels are available with the
car as well. The top is a matching blue with nary a rip or tear.
Inside you're treated to a hardly worn, rip free interior. The car
was well taken care of and presents as such. The AC blows cold and
everything works as designed. Under the hood is Chrysler's tried
and true 253 HP 3.5L V6, backed by a rear mounted, 4-speed
automatic transmission. If cruising in style with all eyes on you
is your idea of a great time, this 2001 Plymouth Prowler is the car
for you!
