Vehicle Description
This custom 1976 Jeep CJ5 is powered by the original rebuilt
4.2-liter 258ci inline-6-cylinder engine and rebuilt 3-speed manual
transmission. The engine has a HEI conversion, aluminum radiator
and Flowmaster exhaust. The Dana 20 transfer case was rebuilt with
a twin-stick conversion. The front axle was converted to disc
brakes with WARN hubs. The gas tank was upgraded to a 20-gallon
tank with a new skid plate. Both the front and rear axles we
upgraded with chromoly shafts. This CJ5 has received all-new wiring
and LED lighting. It has had a 4.5-inch Rubicon Express lift kit
installed and rolls on 33-inch Goodyear tires. Poison Spyder front
and rear bumpers were added, along with a 10,000-pound WARN winch.
The body was pulled off the frame, which was cleaned and
powder-coated, the original body was preserved with a bed liner on
the inside and the exterior patina was clearcoated.
