The stunning Corvette Z06 pictured above is one of only 505(as in
505hp) Wil Cooksey limited edition Corvettes produced. Will Cooksey
was the Corvette plant manager who retired in 2006 after 15 years
as the plant manager in Bowling Green. This is also the only
special edition Corvette to be produced in honor of a GM employee
and the only Z06 available in a Crystal Red Metallic Tint Coat for
the 2008 model year. This color combination was chosen by Mr.
Cooksey personally and all 505 special editions were hand signed
and numbered under the center console lid by Mr. Cooksey, making
this a truly unique automobile. Sporting a 7.0L 427cid LS7 V8
engine with 505hp and mated exclusively to a smooth shifting 6
speed manual transmission, this Corvette Z06 also features
spider-design chrome Z06 wheels, Z06 sill plates, a Stinger-style
stripe on the hood with 427 emblems, chrome exterior badges, and a
painted Z06 spoiler and body-color door handles. Inside, this Z06
contains a Dark Titanium leather-wrapped interior and a special
Crystal Red center trim plate with 427 seat and floor mat
embroidery. The Z06 for sale here, number 161 of the 505, also has
extensive paint protection film on the front end, lower doors, and
rocker panels a clean CarFax. Both key fobs along with all owner's
manuals are still with the vehicle as would be expected of such a
