Zoom Classic Cars presents this restored 1973 Volkswagen Super
Beetle Hardtop. 4 Speed Beetle completed in 2022 a with replacement
4 Cylinder engine situated in a very clean engine compartment and
coupled with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. Nice 1979 Mars Red
paint in overall excellent condition. Owned since 2008 with the
restoration of an original yellow Beetle started in 2017. Car was
in overall good condition with well running original engine that
had approximately 106K miles. The car was sandblasted down to bare
metal, with some minor rust repair done by replacing both rear
fenders, the entire front hood and then making some minor repairs
to the original front fenders as shown. New Running boards were
installed. Floors were in very good condition showing some minor
repairs and then undercoated. New aftermarket front and rear
bumpers. All new stainless trim. Interior of the car is all new
featuring tan vinyl seating, new door panels, headliner, seat belts
and new carpeting. New Dash Shell over the original dash, AM/FM
disc radio, custom homemade dash inserts, custom wood steering
wheel and custom Beetle floor mats. Brand new Windshield and both
rear side windows are new. Front trunk compartment is in very nice
clean condition with matching carpet covering a full spare tire.
All new weather stripping. Undercarriage is clean as noted and
features the exhaust exiting through dual Chrome exhaust pipes. 165
80 R15 Classic Radial Tires mounted on Steel wheels with very nice
Chrome Moon hubcaps. All the signals and lights work as well as
accessories except the rear defroster. Some parts included with the
car including original running boards. The car runs, drives and
shifts very well and is a very solid Beetle that you will enjoy
driving and bringing to your local car show. Get ready for Summer
