Description:
This 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe is one of 589 examples that
were factory-optioned with the B4C Special Service Package, which
included 11.65? rotors along with finned two-piston aluminum
calipers, an engine oil cooler, a limited-slip rear axle, and a
1LE-specification suspension. Power is provided by a 305ci LB9 V8
linked with a five-speed manual transmission, and the car is
finished in teal over gray cloth upholstery. Additional equipment
includes American Racing 17? wheels, air conditioning, power
windows and door locks, a leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel, a
power hatch release, a Pioneer CD stereo, an aftermarket exhaust
system, and an Atima Sport rear sway bar. The car was acquired by
the owner in 2015 and recent service consisted of replacing the
clutch slave cylinder. This Camaro RS is now offered on dealer
consignment with a window sticker, the manufacturer's literature,
spare taillights, and a clean Florida title. The window sticker
shows factory options, colors, and a total vehicle price of
$16,801.
Interior:
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in gray cloth,
and equipment includes air conditioning, power windows and door
locks, a power hatch release, and a Pioneer CD stereo. RS and 25th
Anniversary Edition badging are affixed to the passenger side of
the dashboard. The leather-wrapped MOMO Competition steering wheel
is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 145-mph speedometer, a
7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature,
fuel level, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows
172k miles, approximately 10k of which were added by the current
owner.
Exterior:
The body was repainted in teal under prior ownership and additional
details include RS badging, a rear spoiler, side skirts, sport
mirrors, and body-color front and rear fascias.
Drivetrain:
The 5.0-liter LB9 V8 features electronic tuned-port fuel injection
and an engine oil cooler and was factory rated at 230 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual
transmission and a G80 limited-slip rear axle. An aftermarket
exhaust system is fitted and the clutch slave cylinder is said to
have been replaced recently.
