Vehicle Description
This 4th generation Ranchero takes its handsome good looks from
Ford's Torino GT and is more than just a pretty face. Under the
hood beats a 428 Cobra-Jet for some tire shredding fun and Big
Block Flowmaster thunder. Its sporty intermediate size, high
performance engine and upgraded suspension makes it ideal muscle.

video: INTRO/HISTORY: Ford produced the Ranchero from 1957-1979 and
lit the fire at Chevrolet to create the El Camino in 1959. Over the
years the various style changes made it a compact, intermediate and
a full size. In 1968 it was derived from the Fairlane/ Torino and
was trim and muscular. Originally a 390 car this beautiful GT
example now has a 428 Cobra Jet V8 hooked up to a Streetfighter C6
automatic transmission. It comes with a clean and clear title EXT:

have something unique at the show and you don't see many of these
Rancheros especially in this kind of condition and Big Block
powered. This was one of the best years for styling with that
lovely Torino front end. Lean and muscular it is a showstopper from
every angle and is in a terrific color combo very emblematic of the
day. Blue Oval fans will crowd around this Ranchero GT and you will
enjoy cruising with that Big Block Rumble.
