Vehicle Description
1977 Fleetwood Brougham was designed and built with comfort, style,
and power as key features. Now 11.5 inches shorter and nearly 900
pounds lighter than the outgoing Sixty Special Brougham, the
range-topping model was more luxurious than ever - a period
brochure calling it, "A very special kind of Cadillac... for very
special people." As the rest of the Cadillac line-up switched to
the front-wheel drive C-Body platform for 1985, the Fleetwood
Brougham retained its rear-wheel drive D-Body chassis and gained
the more powerful Oldsmobile-sourced 307 cu-in V8 a year later in
1986. Today, the Fleetwood Brougham represents a bygone era of
American automotive luxury, with well-preserved examples like this
