Just harvested from the Pacific Northwest, GR Auto Gallery is excited to offer this 1979 Ford F150 Ranger 4X4 pick up for consideration. The truck was purchased new at Colville Ford of Colville, WA and remained with the original owner and family until exchanging hands in 2010 and held until our recent aquisition. The truck shows just 64163 miles, we are told that these miles are original and the condition of this truck leads us to believe they are indeed original. The truck retains its original color combination of 2 tone Dark Maroon with Candy Apple Red exterior paint over Red interior.

This truck is powered by its 400 CID V8 engine, automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive. Vehicle highlights include: Power steering, power brakes, added vintage air conditioning R134, factory aluminum wheels, 8ft box, bench seat, vinyl floor, sliding rear window, aluminum side steps, cruise control, meaty BF Goodrich A/T's etc.

The structural integrity of this F150 is excellent and extremely honest. The exterior paint, if not original, is old and exhibits great patina. There are a few chips, scrapes and a couple bumps and bruises, but overall very good. The paint in the bed remains glossy as the vehicle had a cap on it since new. (topper is available with the sale, but we thought it was ugly:)) The truck does come with a set of trailer mirrors that were removed for the same reason. The mounting hardware is in place and the mirrors will go with the sale.

The interior appears to be original in extremely good condition throughout, and under the hood is also original, clean and tidy.

Mechanically, this F150 Ranger 4X4 runs and drives very well, it is turn key and ready for immediate use.

The 1977-1979 FSeries 4X4 pickups are extremely sought after and are among the most desired pick ups of that era. With only a 3 year body style run, they are also among the most rare.
