The Corvette holds a special place in my heart because it was built
here in St. Louis from 1953 until July 1981. The 1968 Chevrolet
Corvette was a significant redesign from the previous year's model
and was also the first C3 Corvette ever made.
This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is a rare find because it has
its original numbers-matching 427 L36 motor, which has been
verified and only has 45,927 original miles. It also has the
correct M21 transmission, which is most likely the original, but
unfortunately, the tag fell off, so we can't confirm. The car also
comes with the original gas tank sticker, a highly sought-after
item that shows both options were on this car. Although the car was
originally painted LeMans Blue Metallic, it now sports a red color.
However, it still has the original black interior, original
windows, and all the original trim.
These cars are only increasing in value, and this one, being all
original except for the paint job, makes it even more desirable.
With the car show season just beginning, this car won't last long,
as someone will want to have it in their garage to show off this
beautiful gem and perhaps even win some trophies.
We appreciate your interest in this fantastic vehicle, available in
our showroom at 5626 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO, 63116. If you have
