1966 High Country Special This 1966 High Country Special coup was a promotion that Ford Motor Company ran The 1966 HCS were produced by the plant in San Jose California This HCS hardtop coupe was 1 of 333 and was born on July 15th 1966 All 333 were shipped by train to Colorado Wyoming and parts of Nebraska and sold in those areas only The 1966 HCS were identified by the badge located on both front fenders near the Mustang emblem. The only three colors offered were Aspen Gold Columbine Blue and Timberline Green The power plant is a 289 V8 with dual exhaust and automatic transmission.
