History: Originally an Arizona car, it came to Southern California in the mid 1980’s. In the mid 2000s, it was sent to England in a sea container to be restored by a Lotus Elan expert. Owned for the past 40 years by the same California owner.
Condition: Restored in 2005 - 2006 by Lotus Elan expert Richard Winter in the U.K. Owner of Lotus Europa Engineering and Banks Service Station. This included a complete disassembly and full rebuild still with original wishbone frame, complete body restoration, all suspension, engine, and gearbox. Rebuilt brakes, instruments and more. The car was shipped back to California and meticulously cared for. Garage kept amidst a nice Lotus collection.
Of Note: A low mile dry sate car with one owner these past 40 years. Beautifully restored and well turned out. Starts and drives as it should. Light and nimble with plenty of power. Has soft top bows and soft top. Workshop manual.
