Vehicle Description
THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD WITH A REBUILT SALVAGE TITLE!
This very special vehicle started life as a 1973 Porsche 911T and
over the past few years was built into a 1974 RSR replica.
The body of this beauty uses fiberglass RSR style quarter panels,
fenders, and bumpers to accommodate 9'x 15'' (225/50/15 front) /
14"x 15" (345/35/15 rear) Gotti wheels to create the RSR wide body
stance. RSR-style side mirrors and door handles were sourced and
installed. Inside the car has a custom full-blown GT2RS-themed Red
& Grey Alcantara interior. Sparco Evo 2 seats were disassembled and
custom-made GT2RS theme seat covers were. The Red Alcantara
one-piece headliner, The Door Cards, and the Dash also complement
the GT2RS theme with a touch of hand-stitched gold stitching. Gold
painted roll bar, period correct Tag Heuer stopwatches, Alcantara
Momo Steering wheel, Shroth 4 point racing harnesses, perforated
gold painted aluminum footrests, upgraded gold painted metal
pedals, gold painted trim & bezels, rear seat delete, and an
interior pan is coated in white. Under the "frunk" you'll find the
battery has been relocated to the smuggler's box, steel braided oil
cooler lines, a robust gold painted strut tower brace, relocated
fuel filler, more special order gold painted perforated aluminum
panels, and a very tidy fuse box setup.
Power is provided by a 3.2-litre engine lifted from a 1985 Carrera.
The engine was completely rebuilt before going into the car. Work
to the engine included a valve job, titanium retainers, Aasco
springs, port, new valve seats, Euro pistons and barrels, 964 cams,
rebuilt rockers and shafts, Viton gasket set, fuel injector
rebuild, and chain tensioners.
The transmission is a 915 taken from the same 1985 Carrera that
donated the engine. The brake calipers were taken from a 930 turbo
with new rotors and pads and an upgraded brake booster. It was also
upgraded with dual oil coolers located in the front bumper. Also
installed are Tarett Engineering/Bilstein suspension
components.
The original 1973 911T this car was built on was a theft recovery
that had the engine and transmission taken from it and was sold as
a salvage title. When considering the platform for the build this
salvaged 1973 911T looked the perfect option. Before being offered
for sale the chassis was inspected to make sure it was sound and
ready for the next owner to take delivery and enjoy.
Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing,
