Vehicle Story Overview
Asking $160,000 or best offer
I built the El Camino to look like a pro stock racer. The car is a retro mod. It's a street legal car; I had to for over 36 years. It was a body off build. My non racecar has A/C, with R34A, cruise control, power windows, tilt steering column, Am/Fm stereo with amp and CD player. Car has four wheel disk brakes and four wheel adjustable QA1 coil overs to set the right height with pinto manual rack and pinion steering.
Exterior Features
Car is finished in P.P.G. black with white hood stripes and a clear coat finish. It's triple black exterior and interior, vinyl top and a Gaylord tonneau cover, remote door openers, dual adjustable mirrors, and chrome front and rear steel bumpers. This is an all steel car. Chrome moldings are all dent free, it has an electric hood lift, nose flip and tonal lift.
Interior Features
Bucket seats are covered with black leather with red stripes. A stock center console, four spoke sports wheel. All stock gauges are in working order including the stock clock.
Engine and Transmission
All new specially made wire harness for under the hood to power the motor and the front headlights. Motor has an electric chrome water pump two electric fans, custom made 2.5 inch headers with electric cutouts, custom stainless steel radiator, electric fuel pump with manual shutoff.
Under Carriage
The rear section is tubbed with S+W rear car frame section, also installed is a Fab 9" ford rear end with a Detroit locker possie. 1/2 inch Wheel studs and 35 spline rear axles. The front clip is Chassis Works with a front and center motor plate and a removable cross member for the transmission. All brake and fuel lines are stainless steel.
Bed
The bed has a custom built stainless steel 40 gallon fuel tank, a stainless steel battery box, and aluminum wheel tubs.
To Sum Up
The car is stored in my garage which has heat for winter, A/C in the summer, and a dehumidifier that runs year round; the car is also covered. The car looks better in person if you are interested I strongly recommend looking at it before you purchase it. Text me for more information, I would be glad to share, I have lots of pictures to show progress of the build.
