1965 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK A CODE, 4-SPEED, GARAGE KEPT AND LOVED
ITS ENTIRE LIFE! The body and Rangoon Red (code J) paint with white
stripes on this Ford Mustang are exceptional. Looking down both
sides, it is straight. The doors and fenders are aligned perfectly.
Up front there is a sparkling Pony grill with GT fog lights. The
front bumper, emblems, mirror and door handles are like new. The
vent window is in good shape. In the back: the bumper, lights and
gas cap are like new. It has a GT rear valance with correct exhaust
tips. It sits on a set of period-correct Pony wheels wrapped with
new BFG T/A radial tires. The interior is just as amazing as the
outside. The red interior has been restored. It has newer seat
upholstery and cushions, rear fold down seat, new carpet, new
headliner, door panels and sill plates. It has the factory optional
dash with full gauges including a 140 mph speedo. The dash lenses,
bezels, trim and dash pad all look new. It sports a Ford AM radio
and a 3-spoke wood grain steering wheel. Everything works including
the light in the glovebox! The engine compartment is nicely
detailed with its 289 ci motor; it has a factory intake with an
Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, correct open element air cleaner,
polished aluminum Ford Mustang valve covers, upgraded aluminum
radiator and correct master cylinder, Autolite battery topper. The
engine bay is clean with a black satin finish and under the hood
has a glossy Rangoon Red finish. The undercarriage is all clean
metal and very detailed. The floors, frame rails and rockers are
all clean metal. The entire chassis has been rebuilt and detailed.
Up front: all the bushings, shocks, steering components look great.
It has a great sounding dual exhaust system with correct tips
running out the back of the rear valance. Looking up at the motor
and the 4-speed manual transmission, they are clean. It also has a
heavy duty rear differential with 3.25 gear. The E-brake assembly
is complete and working. The trunk is clean metal. With a new
carpeted Trunk mat, and weather stripping. This professionally
