This 1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat pickup is a really clean, original,
and well maintained truck that spent its life in Oregon. The clean
Carfax shows a lot of maintenance and the last owner maintained the
truck and had a lot of preventive maintenance done to keep it a
reliable truck for him. The body on this F-150 is excellent! The
white paint appears to be all original and still looks great! All
of the chrome and trim is original and still really nice. The
underside of this truck is extra clean and we found no rust
issues.
The interior is also original and still in great condition. This
includes the original seat, headliner, carpet, door panels, dash,
and dash bezel. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. Both gas tanks are
working. The horn and windshield wipers work. The heat and AC are
also working. It is just a great example of an original interior.
It is interesting to note that this XLT lariat has manual windows
and locks and because it is a 5 speed manual there was no cruise
control.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!! The engine is the original
5.0L 302 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we
found. It has had a lot of recent maintenance including new timing
chain and gears, new waterpump, new intake gaskets, new valve cover
gaskets, new EGR valve, new BBK throttle body, full tune-up, Shorty
Ford headers, and Flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is the M50D
5 Speed manual that shifts nice with a good clutch. It is mated to
the Borg Warner manual transfer case and the 4WD works like it
should. It has the Ford 8.8 rear axle with 3.55 gears and the TTB
front axle with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting on new rims with 32
Mud Terrain tires.
