Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the
classic and muscle car business. When Chevrolet released their
compact Chevy II/Nova in 1962 to compete with Ford's Falcon, it
didn't take enthusiasts very long to embrace these versatile and
lightweight cars. Chevy realized that they needed a more
conventional design than the revolutionary rear engine, air-cooled
Corvair after being trounced by Ford's Falcon in the sales race.
Chevrolet soon offered V8 engines in the Nova and these little
overachievers have been building a fearsome reputation ever since.
This stunning 1964 Chevy Nova (04) Wagon is a spectacular example
of one man's vision of what a Nova SS wagon might have been.
Beneath the flawless hood is the 283 ci version (SC CH) of
Chevrolet's world-conquering small block V8, an engine family over
100 million strong and still counting! This gem breathes freely
thanks to an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer EPS aluminum intake
manifold as well as a nice dual exhaust system with H-pipe.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc
brakes, air conditioning, a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission,
pristine blue bucket seat interior, SS-type gauges, luggage rack,
original AM radio, and tires of appropriate-size (195/65R15 F,
205/70R15 R) wrapped around alloy wheels. This jewel makes no
excuses. Top to bottom and front to back, this is the finest
quality Nova restoration that I've seen. The impossible-to-find
trim is gorgeous and the door gaps look like a Benz! No surprises
here, this sweetheart just gets better the longer you look. One
more top-shelf classic from the Texas Hill Country's premier source
for classic vehicles and the team that can make your dream a
reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
