Vehicle Description
This 1972 Volkswagen Type 1 19-window microbus was restored and
converted to a 23-window Deluxe Samba re-creation. It is powered by
a new upgraded 1,600cc 4-cylinder engine with a single carburetor
mated to a 4-speed Freeway Flyer manual transmission. The front
suspension was completely rebuilt and a height adjustment system
was added. The rear suspension has been completely rebuilt to the
original standard but is 2 inches lower. The steering roller box is
brand-new and manufactured with a precise roller system. It has
been completely redone with new parts for the front and rear drum
brake system. The entire electrical system is new or restored to
like-new condition. The exterior features a two-tone Vanilla and
blue paint, pop-out safari-style split window, sliding ragtop
sunroof, a luggage rack with a ladder and eight skylights, as well
as a new set of green glass and new stainless-steel mirrors. It
also features new handmade headlights with angel-eye lanterns. This
bus rides on 15x5.5-inch steel wheels with chrome-dome hubcaps and
new radial tires. The interior has been completely customized
design in blue and white eco-leather upholstery that seats three in
the front with retractable front seat belts and features an
L-shaped sofa in the back that seats up to five passengers with
five seatbelts in the back. Features include a built-in Smart TV
that can be connected to Wi-Fi or cellular connection, a
touchscreen multimedia system with Bluetooth and rear camera,
laminated wood floor, restored speedometer in the original style
with an added green LED light, new chrome dual sideview mirror and
new chrome rearview mirror.
