1966 PONTIAC GTO-389 4-SPEED, FRAME-OFF RESTORED,CALIFORNIA CAR!!!
This 1966 Pontiac GTO presents itself well in a factory color
Barrier Blue. The fit and finish is good. The blue paint has a
mirror like finish, it has a lot of depth. The front and rear
bumpers have been re-chromed to a show finish. All the stainless
steel has been polished. The door handles, emblems, tail light trim
and headlight bezels have been replaced. All the glass is clear.
All weather stripping and fuzzies have been replaced. It sits on a
set of aftermarket 15x7 Pontiac Rally I wheels with new trim rings
and center caps wrapped with Grand Am radial GTl tires! The
Parchment (white) interior is all new and has that WOW factor up
against the blue exterior. The woodgrain dash has been redone, all
the chrome around the bezels looks like new and the lenses are
clear. The dash pad and grab bar are nice. The bucket seats have
new cushions and covers. It also has newer door panels, armrests
and bases, new carpet and sill plates. The headliner is as tight as
a drum. Looking forward at the dash it has the optional deluxe wood
steering wheel and factory style in-dash tach. It also features a
console with a factory Hurst shifter coming up out of it! The
heater controls slide with ease. It has a factory AM radio that has
been converted to an AM/FM that works. It also features front and
rear Deluxe seat belts. The engine compartment is nicely detailed
with its completely rebuilt 389 cubic inch engine. It has the
correct stock chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The ignition has
been upgraded to Pertronix HEI ignition. Many of the components
look new; wiring, hoses, fan shroud, fan and 4-core radiator. It
has a new cadmium plated power brake booster with an upgraded dual
master cylinder, correct spring style battery cables and tower
clamps. The engine bay is painted in a nice satin black finish. The
undercarriage is detailed and has extremely clean, original metal
floors. The floors are painted in a nice satin black finish. The
frame is also finished in a satin black finish. The bottom of the
motor is clean along with the Muncie M21 4-speed manual
transmission. The front suspension and steering have been
completely rebuilt. The brakes have been upgraded with power front
disc brakes. It has a new gas tank, sending unit and fuel tank
straps. It has a 3:09 posi rear end. It also has dual exhaust with
electric cutouts and Dynomax mufflers and correct exhaust tips
running out the rear of the car. The E-brake cables are hooked up
and working. The trunk is detailed with a coat of splatter paint
and redline spare tire with jack assembly. It also has new weather
stripping. This GTO has the looks that kill!!! Turn-key ready to
