Vehicle Description

This is a custom build was inspired by George Barris complete with Barris kustoms emblems and his signature on the visor. (Not built by George Barris) It's been extensively modified and upgraded in a classic style, from the cruiser skirts to the tuck-and-roll upholstered dash! With tri-power carbs, a 4-speed transmission, and functional Lake pipes, it promises an enjoyable driving experience. To replicate the custom body and paint today would easily cost $75,000!**EXTERIOR:** The exterior boasts excellent fit and finish, having undergone significant body modifications with great attention to detail. It's straight, free from rust or damage. The front has been reshaped to incorporate 1954 turn signals and Pontiac bumpers, featuring a custom tubular surround for a 1955 Corvette grille. The hood has been shaved and louvered, the fuel door relocated, and the antenna frenched. In the rear, Packard taillights have been integrated, along with a Pontiac bumper, recessed license plate, and a shaved trunk lid. Bulged cruiser skirts and hand-painted pin stripes add extra flair. The stunning paint job is polished to a glossy shine. Door jambs are exceptionally clean, and weatherstrips have been replaced. The functional Lake Pipes come with electric cutouts, and the car rides on Coker Classic radial white wall tires with chrome wire wheels. Both front and rear glass are new.**INTERIOR:** Inside, it's a sharp '50s-style custom with meticulous attention to detail. The seats, door panels, dash pad, and speaker shelf are adorned with red and white pleated upholstery. The seats have been re-cushioned for comfort. Chrome accents adorn the top of the doors, glovebox, and ashtray door. The chromed steering column features a Moon Eyes tachometer and a restored '58 Impala wheel. The factory radio has been modernized with an auxiliary plug. Below the dash, you'll find a gauge cluster and an air conditioning unit. The headliner has been reupholstered and features Bel Air chrome, and the sun visor bears George Barris's signature.**ENGINE COMPARTMENT:** Under the hood, it's a spectacle with plenty of chrome dressing. The car is powered by a strong-running 305 V8, equipped with an Offenhauser intake and three carbs, plus HEI ignition. The engine bay features sharp-looking nostalgic finned valve covers. An air conditioning system with polished components keeps things cool. Other shiny elements include a chrome Powermaster alternator, polished pulleys, chrome water pump, a large aluminum radiator, an electric fan, and a polished overflow bottle. There's also an upgraded chrome dual reservoir master cylinder. The entire core support is chromed, giving the engine bay a polished look.**TRUNK COMPARTMENT:** Inside the trunk, you'll find white tuck-and-roll upholstered panels under the trunk lid, along with a tire cover. The floor is carpeted with white-bound edges. The fuel filler has been moved inside the trunk for a cleaner look, and a car cover is included.**UNDERSIDE:** The car has a lowered suspension, thanks to replaced springs and shocks. The fuel tank has been replaced, and the dual exhaust system seems fairly new, featuring Xlerator mufflers. The floors appear solid, and the engine area looks very clean. It's equipped with a T10 4-speed transmission and 3.36 gears in the rear end. Underglow lights add to the overall appeal.
