Vehicle Description
This custom 1955 Chevrolet Nomad received an extensive professional
nut-and-bolt restoration and has been infused with modern
technology throughout. It sits on a new Art Morrison chassis fitted
with coilover suspension at all four corners, front and rear sway
bars, tubular control arms, a 4-link rear-end setup and power rack
& pinion steering. Power comes from a Chevy Gen 4 6.0-liter LS
engine equipped with aluminum heads, an LSA supercharger with ZL1
lid and reinforced intercooler, and a BTR camshaft and rocker
assemblies. The engine is mated to a new 4L80 4-speed automatic
transmission with a Circle D Specialties torque converter,
transferring power to the wheels through a Strange rear
differential assembly with 3.50 gears. Spent gases exit through a
set of coated headers and a stainless dual exhaust system with
electronic cutouts. Stopping is courtesy of power Wilwood disc
brakes at all four corners. Other features include a custom-built
PRC radiator with heat exchangers, LSX Concepts accessory drive,
electronic parking brake and a complete American Autowire harness.
The exterior is expertly finished in two-tone yellow and white. The
all-new black interior is from Ciadella and features a Vintage Air
system, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, an Ididit tilt column topped
with a Billet Specialties steering wheel and power windows. All
chrome and brightwork is either new or professionally restored and
the car has all-new glass. This custom Nomad rides on staggered
U.S. Mags wheels with 18-inch front and 20-inch rears wrapped in
Hankook Ventus V2 tires. This is a fresh build completed in
December 2023 and has been driven 200 shakedown miles since
completion. Title reads exceeds mechanical limits. **TITLED AS 1955
