1968 Mustang Shelby GT500. This is a real Shelby that was restored in the early/mid 1980s. Only a 2 owner car with the last owner having possession for nearly 45 years. The car does not retain its original drivetrain and transmission has been changed to a 4 speed Toploader. 428 engine block with CJ heads.
This is a great driver quality car with a repaint in its original Wimbledon white. The car was never fully/rotisserie restored, mostly cosmetic refinishing on the exterior and interior. Car retains windshield vin plate, replacement door tag, buck tag, and Shelby plate are present on the car. Driver and passenger apron vin stamps are present. A box with some original parts is with the car.
Documentation on the car includes the Marti report, SAAC registry, build sheet, stack of various receipts from the 80s and also a second set of keys.
