Vehicle Description
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a
matching-numbers 454/275hp LS4 V8 engine that was rebuilt in 2019
and is backed by an upgraded TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission.
The comprehensive restoration included proper fitment and detailing
of the engine compartment and underside. The exterior was restored
to the original Medium Blue color using a water-based paint. The
seating was reupholstered to the original color, Midnight Blue.
Factory options include air conditioning, power steering, power
brakes, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, AM/FM stereo radio and an
analog clock that keeps time. The year 1973 was the first for
Corvette's color-matching front urethane bumper and the last year
for the rear chrome bumpers. It was also the first year Corvette
shipped radial tires and aluminum wheels, and this Corvette
includes its original radial T/As mounted on improved 1976-style
Corvette alloy wheels. Attention to detail was paid, right down to
the factory overspray on the gasket adhesive and correct seat
padding and upholstery. Aside from the improved 5-speed
transmission and alloy wheels, this Corvette is unmodified as it
came from the dealership with factory ignition, carburation and
exhaust systems.
