Completely original 1967 GMC 2500. Third owner has owned the vehicle for last 3 years. Truck was originally purchased by a grain farmer in Saskatchewan Canada. Truck was never used on farm, but was used to haul his camper on vacation only. Always stored indoors.
I purchased the vehicle from my brother-in-law who had purchased it from the estate of the farmer approximately 25years ago. The vehicle was in storage and not driven regularly until three years ago.
When vehicle was taken out of storage, gas tank, spark plugs, spark, plug wires, and all hoses and water pump were replaced. Carburetter was cleaned and rebuilt. All fluids were changed at the same time. Vehicle runs perfectly now.
Original colour of vehicle was single stage read. The paint was faded, but body was in mint shape. Other than a small amount of surface rust on the bottom of the vehicle, it is rust free. Bottom was not covered or painted up so purchaser could see original condition.
Photos of a box show original condition of box. Photos of tailgate show that there is not a single dent in the top of the tailgate as it has never been used for anything, but to put the camper on.
Approximately one year ago, vehicle was given a complete body wrap with 3M UV car wrap. Colour is now candy apple red with a white top.
Interior is completely original. All of the numbers match. Seats have not been refinished or professionally cleaned. They simply show the condition of the interior of the vehicle. The dash is crack free and not faded.
This is a great collector vehicle. Its value will only increase overtime. It is not a restoration because it never required restoration. This is a great collector vehicle that runs perfectly and has a lot of fun to drive. Its value will only increase over time.
It is almost in the same condition as when new. 3M wrap makes it look better than when brand new.
