1968 marked the second year of Camaro. Coming off of a wildly
successful launch, Chevrolet gave the front of the car a more
pointed grille and divided the rear tail lights. SS models received
signature chrome hood inserts and low-gloss black rear taillight
panels. Performance was improved with staggered rear shock
abosorber mountings and multi-leaf rear springs were introduced for
high-performance models. '68 continued America's love affair with
the Camaro and proved to be another highly succesful year for the
model.
This '68 SS Camaro is the result of a rotisserie restoration. All
around the exterior, the gleaming Rally Green paint, a rare midyear
spring color, is set off by the new white vinyl top. The exterior
paint and all-new or refinished brightwork demonstrates the level
of restoration this Camaro received. Sitting on restored factory
rally wheels and BF Goodrich 15-inch radial tires, this Camaro
presents itself like the day it was new. Throughout the interior,
the new white vinyl seating is contrasted by the black carpeting
and dash. Factory console, restored dash instruments and factory
A/C round out a well-equipped and refinished interior. Powered by a
350ci V8 modified to 350/295hp standards, enhacements to this car
include an Edelbrock aluminum intake, steel headers, chrome engine
dress kit and aluminum radiator. With power steering andpower
brakes, this Camaro is an absolute pleasure to drive.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odomter is exempt and
