Vehicle Description
This custom 1970 Plymouth Satellite coupe has been modified in the
style of a Road Runner and is powered by a 440ci V8 engine linked
to a 3-speed automatic transmission and an 8.75-inch limited-slip
rear end with 3.73:1 gearing. The engine is modified with revised
pistons and aluminum cylinder heads, as well as an Edelbrock
carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, aluminum
radiator, Mopar valve covers, and TTI headers and exhaust. It is
equipped with rack & pinion steering and a tubular K-member.
Braking is handled by Wilwood front calipers over cross-drilled and
slotted rotors, and drums are utilized at the rear wheels. The car
is finished in Rallye Green with Road Runner-style graphics and has
a black-accented fiberglass hood with a scoop. This car rides on
American Racing 15-inch wheels mounted under Firestone Firehawk
tires. It also features a black vinyl roof, chrome bumpers, an
aftermarket suspension, a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, a
trunk-mounted 15-gallon fuel cell and a black interior with bucket
seats. Replacement bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl
complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels and
carpeting.
