Vehicle Description
This frame-off-restored 1971 Pontiac Trans Am Pro-Touring coupe is
powered by a professionally rebuilt 455-HO date-correct service
replacement V8 engine with factory 355hp and 480 ft/lbs of torque.
It is backed by a performance-built 700R4 overdrive automatic
transmission. From the ground up, improvements and performance
enhancements include Nitto ZR-rated tires mounted on 17-inch billet
honeycomb wheels, Global West tubular upper and lower control arms
and all-new bushing and suspension pieces. The shocks are QA1
adjustable front and rear with new coils and springs. Brakes are
professionally done and have all-new material and parts. This car
features a balanced aluminum driveshaft followed up by a completely
rebuilt limited-slip differential with Richmond 3.42 gears. The
exterior paint is a professionally done Jetstream Blue Metallic
with heavy Pearl. Stripes are painted with multiple layers of
clearcoat for a smooth finish. It has factory options that include
air conditioning, rear console, power brakes and power steering.
The interior is factory blue vinyl with the exception of a custom
dash plate, a Vintage Air Magnum system, extra 3M sound-deadening
pads and a custom audio radio with multi-audio outputs. This
example was delivered to D&J Pontiac-Olds in Louisburg, NC, on
April 22, 1971, and has PHS paperwork.
