1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 BUILD SHEET, #'s MATCHING
DRIVETRAIN, FACTORY A/C This is one of the most sought after muscle
cars! This 1970 Chevelle is wearing its original color, Champagne
Gold (code 55) with black bucket seat interior!!! The body is clean
and straight. All lines and gaps fit nicely. It appears to have all
factory sheet metal. Doors close like they were new. The paint has
a nice smooth and glossy finish. The front grill, emblem, headlight
bezels and front bumper look great. The stainless trim is polished
and straight. The rear bumper, SS pad and tail light lenses are
very nice. The glass is tinted and in good condition. The door
jambs are painted and all weather stripping is like new. It sits on
a set of 14x7 factory SS wheels with FR/70/14 Firestone Wide Oval
tires. The black bucket interior is in excellent shape! It sports
factory bucket seats and console with a Horse Shoe shifter sticking
out of it. The factory A/C controls all operate smoothly. It has a
factory AM/FM radio. The dash pad is in excellent shape. The
headliner is tight. The carpet, sill plates and door panels are all
in nice shape as well. The engine compartment is clean and
complete! It has its number matching drivetrain, CTX suffix code
396 ci/350 hp engine that has been completely rebuilt and runs
strong! It also has factory chrome valve covers, chrome air
cleaner, 4 core radiator, correct fan shroud and fan, factory
correct spring type battery cables, GM hoses and tower clamps. The
factory A/C blows cold! Everything is nice and correct. The trunk
is super clean. It appears to be all original metal. The trunk pan
has been resprayed in its original color of spatter paint. It also
has a spare tire and jack assembly. The undercarriage is as clean
as the top side! The bottom of the engine is clean and the Turbo
400 automatic transmission is clean as well. The original floors
have been painted in a satin gray. There is a F-41 suspension which
includes sway bars, boxed in control arms and front disc brakes. It
has a dual exhaust system with factory style cowbell tips running
out the back, new fuel tank with new straps and sending unit,
12-bolt posi rear end with 3:31 gears and the E-brake assembly
looks good and working. The 1970 Chevelle SS is the most popular
