Vehicle Description
This Speedster replica was built in Broken Arrow Oklahoma by the
A.C.D. company (Glen Pray) and has been owned by the current
consignor since 1986. It has received several refreshes over the
years as well, one in 2003 and another in 2009 based on some of the
paperwork. The body is showing signs of age with some paint
checking, cracking, staining etc.... but is still a good ten-footer
if you will. The top and interior are in very solid driver quality
condition and mechanically the car seems very strait with no
immediate needs for immediate enjoyment. There is a full rundown of
the build and even what was done during mechanical freshening
throughout the years. We all know that the actual Auburn cars from
the 1930's especially the boat-tail speedsters have sold in the
high six figure mark approaching $1million so to have the look and
in my opinion a better ride with newer mechanicals is a really
something. Everything seems to work as it should, including all the
gauges, fan, lights and switches. This car starts right up, idles
nicely, shifts well, brakes well and goes down the road at 70MPH
strait as an arrow. Driving down the road is very comfortable and
demands all the attention. This would make a great parade car, or
at this point could be taken to the next level pretty easily if
wanted. Please let us know if you have any further questions or
would like to set up a visit.
