This 1966 GT40 MKII is now offered with invoices dating back to its construction, has a clean Georgia title, and is registered in the Authentic Original GT 40 Registry with a GT 40 VIN number. Finished in yellow with Le Mans black stripes, the car is powered by a 427ci V8 that features a Dart Windsor aluminum block, CNC-ported Dart aluminum cylinder heads, a custom-ground roller camshaft, and Borla eight-stack fuel injection. Additional features include a Quaife ZFQ five-speed manual transaxle, Wilwood ventilated disc brakes, coilover shock absorbers, 15” Halibrand-style wheels, an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans, a driver-side Gurney bubble, air conditioning, buckets seats trimmed in black leather with ventilation grommets, five-point harnesses, and a leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel. Exterior details include faired-in headlights and fog lights, NACA ducts on the front fenders, quick-jack front bumperettes, dual fuel filler caps, dual side mirrors, an adjustable rear spoiler, and seven intake scoops integrated into the rear clamshell. Silver-finished Halibrand-style wheels are secured by three-eared original knock-offs and are wrapped in Avon Radial tires measuring 225/60R15 up front and 295/50R15 at the rear. Stopping is handled by slotted and ventilated disc brakes with Wilwood calipers, dual master cylinders, braided stainless-steel hoses, and front cooling ducts. The master cylinders were replaced in 2019. The left-hand-drive cockpit houses a pair of fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather with silver-finished ventilation grommets and equipped with Impact five-point racing harnesses. The leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation including a central 8k-rpm tachometer flanked by gauges monitoring oil pressure and coolant temperature. Instruments to the driver’s right include gauges monitoring coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel level, and amperage as well as a 200-mph speedometer. The digital odometer shows 3,389 miles.
