Nicknamed "In Excess," this 1929 Ford custom roadster hot-rod
pickup featuring an all-steel body is a no-expense-spared, full
restoration. It is powered by a performance 5.7-liter small-block
V8 engine rated at 370hp connected to a TH400 automatic
transmission, with a chrome driveshaft and chrome independent rear
differential. This custom hot-rod build features a wood bed with
polished hardware, a custom black top and a custom red leather
interior, and is finished in a custom Ferrari Red. The highly
detailed undercarriage features a custom-built chassis finished in
a matching Ferrari Red with hand-painted pinstriping throughout the
chassis, custom Jaguar-inspired independent rear suspension with
all-chrome housing, differential cover, brake calipers,
proportioning valve, half shafts, wishbone control arms, quadruple
rear coilover shocks, front lower control arms, front torsion bars,
exhaust system, inner and outer tie rods, transmission dust cover,
front brake calipers, horns and front struts, as well as stainless
plumbing, a custom fuel tank and polished exhaust. This custom
build rides on U.S. Wheel 510 Series Smoothies wheels painted
Ferrari Red with chrome centers, all wrapped in BFGoodrich
Advantage tires. It has been driven 574 miles since the
