Vehicle Description
This custom 1957 Chevrolet 150 wagon underwent a 12-year
no-expense-spared restoration. It is powered by a new 6.0-liter V8
engine topped with fuel injection with COMP Cams camshafts and
valve springs, mated to a rebuilt T56 6-speed manual transmission
with Z06 internals. The exhaust system is custom stainless with
long-tube headers and is cooled by an aluminum radiator. The fluids
of the vehicle have also been freshly serviced. The front
suspension is built with CPP tubular front suspension on a factory
California chassis that is powder-coated. It includes a Speedway
Engineering front sway bar with splined connecting links. The rear
suspension is built with an Art Morrison triangulated 4-link rear
suspension with Strange coilovers and a Moser Ford 9-inch rear
differential with 3.73 gears, as well as a custom chromoly
driveshaft delivering 450hp. It has a Borgeson Delphi 600 power
steering box, and stopping power comes from C6 front brakes and
Wilwood 4-piston in the rear with a Wilwood master cylinder. The
rear side windows roll down with custom-made channels, motors and
regulators, and the glass is all factory tinted. The undercarriage,
including fender wells, rear differential, radiator support and
suspension components are powder-coated, and the floor pan is a
full one-piece. It is outfitted with newly purchased taillights.
The Center Line wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich tires. The
interior is custom-built by Ciadella Interiors in Arizona and
includes a custom center console finished in red. The floors are
covered in Dynamat with Mercedes carpeting and the front seats are
out of an Impala. The dashboard is smooth and fully electronic with
a Flaming River steering column and a classic instrument gauge
cluster. The interior also has a Vintage Air system and a stereo
made by Kenwood, with Apple CarPlay. This vehicle was featured in
Super Chevy magazine.
