This 1964 Fiat 600D Multipla is an Italian-market example that was
refurbished and modified in the style of a Jolly model in 2022.
Work is said to have involved rebuilding the 767cc inline-four and
four-speed manual transaxle in addition to overhauling the
suspension and brakes, installing a custom-fabricated tubular
internal subframe, sandblasting the body, replacing body panels,
and repainting the car green. Additional equipment includes a
striped surrey top with fringed edges as well as 12? steel wheels,
wicker benches, chrome grab bars, and a single Solex carburetor
The Multipla body has been modified in the style of a Jolly model.
Work involved replacing the floorboards, inner rocker panels, left
quarter panel, outside-left rocker panel, rear valance, hood, and
engine cover as well as sandblasting the body, performing rust
repairs, and repainting the car green. Exterior details include a
striped surrey top with color-coordinated fringe along with a
vented rear decklid, tubular bright trim, and Multipla and 600
badges
Beige-painted 12? steel wheels wear Fiat-branded hubcaps. The car
employs a double-wishbone front and trailing-arm rear suspension
design, and the suspension and four-wheel drum brakes were
overhauled as part of the conversion.
The cabin houses three rows of wicker bench seating as well as
beige carpets. Appointments include a body-color dashboard,
chrome-finished grab bars, and ropes across the front and rear door
openings. A spare tire is stored below the passenger-side
dashboard.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-km/h speedometer flanked by
gauges for water temperature and fuel level. The five-digit
odometer shows 1 kilometer (~1 mile), and total mileage is
unknown.
The 767cc inline-four was rebuilt during the conversion and is
topped with a single Solex carburetor. A custom-fabricated fuel
tank has been installed and the engine support panel and wiring
harness are said to have been replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transaxle that was rebuilt as part of the conversion. A
custom-fabricated tubular internal subframe was installed, and an
aftermarket exhaust system is also fitted.
